Location Information

Plougastel-Daoulas is a village and commune 5 miles (8 kilometres) east-south-east of Brest. There is a branch railway line from Brest to the village station and the train service is frequent. The communal cemetery is twenty-five yards north-west of the church. Left of the entrance, about ten yards from the Calvary, are the graves of two airmen of the Royal Air Force and four belonging to the Royal Australian Air Force.

Second from the left and buried in this cemetery is 428799 Flight Sergeant Cyril Thomas Scott, Royal Australian Air Force, died 13th August 1944, aged 28. Son of Cyril Reginald and Violet May Scott; husband of Caroline Scott, of Matraville, New South Wales, Australia. his headstone bears the inscription "He Lived For Us, He Died for Us"

Third and fourth from the left is John Keith Scott and Charles Herbert Edwards, details and images above. 

First on the left is William Ronald Andrew who is buried in Hottot-les-Bagues War Cemetery
