Location Information
La Forest is a hamlet in the commune of La Forest Landernau, about 8 miles (13 kilometres) north-east of Brest. It lies on a by-road turning south off the main road to Landerneau, and is best reached by taxi from Brest. The churchyard is on the western side of La Forest on the way to the river. The one British war grave is near the eastern (right-hand) side of the churchyard, immediately behind the Calvary.

905697 Sergeant James Francis John Sheridan, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner in 217 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 15th February 1941, aged 25. Son of John and Frances Louisa Sheridan, of Crayford, Kent. INSCRIPTION. GOD'S WILL BE DONE.
