Location Information
Montchauvet is a commune and village 37 kilometres west-north-west of Versailles and 13 kilometres south-south-west of Mantes. The communal cemetery lies on the western side of the village on the road to Tilly.
History Information
The graves of 6 airmen, 5 belonging to the Royal Air Force, and 1 to the Royal Australian Air Force, are near the east corner of the cemetery.
All six Airmen were in 115 Squadron, and killed on 8th June 1944.

1891923 Sergeant Albert George Edward Mount, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, aged 19. Son of Edward A. Mount and Gladys E. Mount, of Sittingbourne Kent. His headstone bears the inscription "Though Far Away, Dear Son, Our Hearts Are Always With You"
1853985 Sergeant Victor Frank Scrivens, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, aged 24. Son of Frank and Myra A. Scrivens, of Painswick, Gloucestershire. His headstone bears the inscription "Perfect Pals At Peace"
1399911 Sergeant Ralph Stallwood, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, aged 22. Son of Fredrick Edwart Stallwood and Martha Amelia Stallwood, of Willesden, Middlesex. His brother, Frederick also died on service and is commemorated on the Chatham Naval Memorial, Kent, England. His headstone bears the inscription "Sure And Steadfast "Good Night Laddie, God Bless"
