Le Gros-Theil is a village and commune about 13 kilometres south-west of Elbeuf, a small town 18 kilometres south-south-west of Rouen. In the western part of the communal cemetery, some 30 yards west of the chapel which is east of the main path, is the collective grave of five airmen of the Royal Air Force and three airmen of the Royal Australian Air Force.
Burial Details
All were in 463 Squadron and were killed on 18th December 1944. 5 were in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve and 3 in the Royal Australian Air Force.
