Location Information

Fréauville is a village and commune 29 kilometres south-east of Dieppe, and 2 kilometres south-east of Londinieres, at which town the N.320 road from Dieppe joins the N.314 road from Eu and Le Treport to Neufchatel-en-Bray. The British grave in this churchyard is just south-west of the west door of the church.


Burial Details


13077041 Private Maurice Blake, 122 Company, Pioneer Corps, died 10th September 1944, aged 31. Son of Charles and Edith Ellen Beatrice Blake; husband of Elsie Gertrude Blake, of North Chingford, Essex. INSCRIPTION. FOR THEE HE POURED HIS LIFE AWAY WITH THEE HE LIVES IN ENDLESS DAY.
