Zuilichem is a small village on the south bank of the river Waal 8 kilometres west of Zaltbommel and 25 kilometres north-west of 's-Hertogenbosch. The small cemetery is on the southern outskirts of the village, and in the north-eastern part are buried 5 airmen.

Two other Airmen survived the crash and were captured, Sergeant Mike Cassidy and Sergeant Ray Tanner.
On the wishes of Mike Cassidy, who died aged 81, he was laid to rest with glowing honours next to his fallen comrades on 4th May 2005 and a commonwealth headstone was erected with the inscription "United At Last". Over 100 residents attended the funeral.
