37712 Flying Officer Charles Powell Bomford, Pilot in 107 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 9th June 1940, aged 25. Son of Capt. Charles Francis Bomford and Dorothy Maud Bomford, of Ballycornmon, Co. Tipperary, Irish Republic. His brother Richard Lyndon Bomford also fell and is buried in Cassino War Cemetery in Italy. His headstone bears the inscription "I Thank My God Upon All My Remembrance Of You"
