THELONNE COMMUNAL CEMETERY

GPS Coordinates: Latitude: 49.64706, Longitude: 4.94271

Location Information

Thelonne is a village and commune about 13 miles (21 kilometres) south-east of Mezières and 5 miles south of Sedan. It is most easily reached by taxi from Sedan which is on the Paris-Luxembourg line. The communal cemetery is in a lane some 300 yards south of the church. The one British grave is in the north-eastern portion of the cemetery.

Son of James and Ada Lily Taylor, of Clifton-on-Teme, Worcestershire.

His headstone bears the inscription "Beloved Eldest Son Of Ada And The Late James Taylor, Clifton-On-Teme, Worcester"
