Location Information

Ste. Marguerite-des-Loges is a village 16 kilometres south of Lisieux, and 5 kilometres east of Livarot. There are 2 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-1945 war in the churchyard, also there is 1 non world war burial.


Burial Details


710122 Flight Sergeant Wilfred Royce, Pilot in 266 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 17th August 1944, aged 22. Son of John and Hilda Violet Love, of Bulawayo, Southern Rhodesia. King's Scout. His headstone bears the inscription "Life Is Eternal, Love Is Immortal" 

412278 Flying Officer Bernard Cyril Tasker, Pilot in 2 Squadron, Royal New Zealand Air Force, died 16th June 1944, aged 30. Son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Tasker, of Wanganui, Wellington, New Zealand.
