St. Rémy is a village 33 kilometres south-west of Caen on the N162 Caen-Flers road. The Church is over the top of the hill on the east side of the village, on the D133 St. Remy Clecy road, and is about 75 metres from the N162 road.
There are 2 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-1945 war here, located a few yards east of the monument in the west portion of the churchyard.

Son of Edward Lancelot and Janet Elizabeth Bunting, of Worcester. B.A. (Oxon). His headstone bears the inscription "Born Of The Sun...They Left The Vivid Air Signed With Their Honour"
149334 Flying Officer Edward Spedding, Navigator in 488 (R. N. Z. A. F.) Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 30th July 1944, aged 36. Son of John Joseph and Mary Spedding, of Egremont, Cumberland. His headstone bears the inscription " God Put Forth His Hand And Took Him From The Sky To Dwell In Heaven On High"
