St. Maclou-la-Brière is a village and commune 20 miles (32 kilometres) north-east of Le Havre, and 7 miles (11 kilometres) north of Bolbec, on the D.73 Bolbec to Fécamp road. There is a bus service between Fécamp and Bolbec. In the south-west portion of the churchyard, just south-east of the entrance gate, is the grave of a New Zealand airman.
Burial Details
421785 Pilot Officer James Kingston Stellin, Pilot in 609 Squadron, Royal New Zealand Air force, died 19th August 1944, aged 22. Croix de Guerre avec Palme. Son of James Stellin and of Beatrice Hart Stellin (nee Heard), of Lyall Bay, Wellington, New Zealand.
