ST. CAST COMMUNAL CEMETERY

GPS Coordinates: Latitude: 48.62406, Longitude: -2.26681

Location Information

St. Cast is a coastal village and commune 40 kilometres north-east of St. Brieuc, and some 14 kilometres west of Dinard. The most convenient railway station is at Dinard, the terminus of main lines from Paris and Cherhourg. The communal cemetery is about 300 yards from the church, on the road to La Baie. The burial is a few yards south-east of the entrance, against the boundary wall.
 
Burial Details

91002 Flight Lieutenant John Burke Hatchwell, Pilot in Royal Air Force (Auxiliary Air Force), 1 Photographic Reconnaissance Unit, died 7th December 1941, aged 26. Son of David V. B. Hatchwell and Daisy Hatchwell. B. Sc.
