Location Information

Plévenon is a village and commune some 25 kilometres north-east of Lamballe, a small town which can be reached by train either from Cherbourg, via Coutances and Dol, or from Paris by the Paris Le-Mans-Rennes-Brest line. The communal cemetery is south of the village and on the western side of the road to Port Trecelin. The burial is at the rear of the first plot on the left of the entrance.
 
Burial Details

16696 Flight Sergeant John Bullfinch Thomas, Royal Australian Air Force, died 5th June 1945, aged 28. Son of Robert and Johanna Thomas, of Perth, Western Australia. His headstone bears the inscription "His Duty Fearlessly And Nobly Done. Cherished Memories"
