Papendrecht is a village 22 kilometres south-east of Rotterdam, and is on the north bank of the De Merwede opposite Dordrecht. The cemetery is about 1 kilometre east of the village, some 200 metres behind the church which stands on the road to Sliedrecht. The graves are in the north-eastern part.
