Barendrecht is a village and commune 11 kilometres south-south-east of Rotterdam and 15 kilometres north-west of Dordrecht, on the secondary road from Rotterdam to Maasdam. The cemetery is on the north-eastern side of the village, east of the road from Rotterdam. In the south-western part, close to the chapel, is the grave of an Australian airman.
