Location Information

Neaufles-St. Martin is a village and commune 2.5 miles (4 kilometres) west-south-west of Gisors, a town on the Dieppe-Pontoise-Paris railway line. In the churchyard, near the north-western corner of the church, is the collective grave of five airmen of the Royal Air Force.

​1896411 Sergeant Arthur Courtney Barrett, 207 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 8th July 1944, aged 28. Son of Alfred and Lillian Barrett; husband of Iris Elena Morley Barrett, of Christchurch, Hampshire. INSCRIPTION. IN LOVING MEMORY OF ARTHUR. HIS WIFE IRIS, BABY SANDRA AND HIS MOTHER.

1800837 Sergeant Ronald Charles Collings, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner in 207 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 8th July 1944.

968796 Flight Sergeant John Miller, Navigator in 207 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 8th July 1944, aged 24. Son of Theodore and Mary Miller, of Cardonald, Glasgow. INSCRIPTION. HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR FREEDOM THAT THOSE HE LOVED MIGHT LIVE. R.I.P.

173331 Flying Officer Michael Nicholson Milner, 207 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 8th July 1944.

1474541 Sergeant Edward William Palmer, 207 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 8th July 1944, aged 21.
Son of Alfred Frederick and Florence Elizabeth Palmer, of Reading, Berkshire.
 INSCRIPTION. REST ON, DEAR SON, YOUR DUTY IS DONE; YOU WILL STILL LIVE ON IN OUR MEMORIES.
