Missy is a village and commune 10 miles (16 kilometres) south-west of Caen and 20 kilometres south-east of Bayeux. It lies 1 mile south-east of the N.175 road from Caen to Villers-Bocage and Vire. There is 1 Commonwealth burial of the 1939-1945 war here, near the south wall of the church.

4133748 Trooper William Lloyd, 59th Regiment, Reconnaissance Corps, R.A.C., died 30th July 1944, aged 32. Son of Fredrick and Ellen Lloyd, of Liverpool; husband of Amelia Lloyd, of Norris Green, Liverpool.
