1365038 Sergeant James William McLean, Pilot, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 13th October 1942, aged 22. Son of James and Mary Merry, of Hamilton, Lanarkshire. His headstone bears the inscription "I Give Unto Them Eternal Life;... Neither Shall Any Man Pluck Them Out Of My Hand"
