Location Information

La Chapelle-Yvon is a village and commune 13 kilometres south-east of Lisieux, on the N.819 Lisieux to Orbec road. There is 1 Commonwealth burial of the 1939-1945 war here, in the northwest corner of the churchyard.

2047566 Warrant Officer Class I Albert James Haughton, 30 Heavy Recovery Sec. Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, died 3rd September 1944, aged 44. Husband of E. M. Haughton, of Peacehaven, Sussex.
