Location Information

Blosseville-sur-Mer is a village and commune some 15 miles (24 kilometres) west of Dieppe, 5 miles (8 kilometres) east of St. Valery-en-Caux, and .75 mile (1.50 kilometres) south of Veules-les-Roses. Bus services run from Veules-les-Roses to St. Valery and Dieppe. Between the church tower and the northern boundary wall of the churchyard lie the graves of 8 soldiers of the British army, 4 of whom are not identified.

4616271 Sergeant Herbert Edward Gawthorpe, 2/7th Bn. Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment), died 11th June 1940, aged 20.
 Son of George Henry and Annie Gawthorpe, of Halifax, Yorkshire. His headstone bears the inscription "Greater Love Hath No Man Than This, That A Man Lay Down His Life For His Friends"

4615946 Sergeant Terence Ambler Shaw, 2/7th Bn. 
Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment), died 11th June 1940, aged 26. Son of Arthur Marsden Shaw and Lucy Shaw, of Marsh, Huddersfield. A.I.B. His headstone bears the inscription "Youngest Son Of The Late Arthur And Lucy Shaw, Huddersfield, Yorks, England"

4614100 Private Robert Wallace Tebb, 2/7th Bn. 
Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment), died 11th June 1940, aged 19. Son of Wallace and Hilda Tebb, of Charlton, London. His headstone bears the inscription "He Gave His To-Day For Your To-Morrow"
