Location Information

Kilder, a village in the commune of Bergh, is about 27 kilometres east-south-east of Arnhem, close to the Dutch-German frontier. The churchyard is adjacent to the church, in the centre of the village. One of the war graves is located against the north wall on the north-western side of the churchyard, and the other six are in a plot in the north-eastern corner.

The Lancaster bomber JB672 plane was en route to Duisburg, Germany, when it was shot down by a night-fighter near the village of Kilder in the Netherlands, close to the German border. All six crew members were killed.
There is one other U. K. Airman buried in this cemetery.
