Location Information

Bazinval is a village and commune 34 kilometres east of Dieppe and 5 kilometres south of Gamaches, on the left side of the Gamaches-Grandcourt road. The Communal Cemetery is south of Bazinval Church, on the left side of a road leading from the church to the village school. In the southern corner of the cemetery are three British graves.



Burial Details

7886654 Trooper Robert Sidney Davidson, "A" Squadron, 2nd Royal Tank Regiment, R. A. C., died 27th May 1940, aged 21. Son of Arthur and Nellie Davidson, of Wainfleet, Lincolnshire. His headstone bears the inscription "Deep In Our Hearts A Memory Is Kept Of One We Loved. Mother & Sisters"

7889994 Trooper Ernest Harvey, 2nd Royal Tank Regiment, R. A. C., died 27th May 1940.

7887205 Staff Sergeant Maurice William Pearson, 2nd Royal Tank Regiment, R. A. C., died 27th May 1940, aged 24.
