Amerongen, a village and commune, is 32 kilometres east-south-east of Utrecht, and 35 kilometres west of Arnhem. The cemetery is about 700 metres north of the main road to Arnhem, at the end of a small road known as Holleweg. In the south-western corner of the cemetery are the graves of eight soldiers and airmen from the United Kingdom, three are unidentified.
