Location Information

Villiers-le-Sec is a village and commune 6 miles (10 Kilometres) east-north-east of Bayeux, on the Bayeux to Courseulles road (D.12/D.514). There are 2 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-1945 war here, on the north side of the church.

Burial Details

T/14518540 Driver Robert Chisholm, 212 Inf. Div. Transport Company, Royal Army Service Corps, died 13th June 1944, aged 34. Son of Andrew and Emma Chisholm, of North Fenham, Newcastle-on-Tyne. His headstone bears the inscription "Lovingly Remembered By Mother And Sister"

T/6921986 Driver Albert Francis William Hume, 212 Inf. Div. Transport Company, Royal Army Service Corps, died 13th June 1944, aged 22. Son of Francis O. and Rhoda Sophia Hume, of Ilford, Essex. His headstone bears the inscription "He Died With The Brave. His Smile And Cheery Ways Loved By Us Always. Mum, Dad, Joan"
