Location Information

Villaines-les-Prévôtes is a village and commune 62 kilometres north-west of Dijon. The communal cemetery lies north of the village near to the church. The graves of the British soldiers are situated to the right of the entrance.

2327605 Signalman Ronald George McEachan, Royal Corps of Signals attached to Signal Secion, Special Air Service Regiment, A. A. C. Died 23rd August 1944.

57277877 Private Leonard Charles Rudd, 2nd Special Air Service Regiment, A. A. D. Died 23rd August 1944, aged 25. Son of Philip A. Rudd and Elsie M. Rudd, of Radipole, Dorsetshire. His headstone bears the inscription "To Us Who Loved And Lost You Your Memory Will Never Grow Old"
