Location Information

Touffreville-la-Corbeline is a village 17 miles (28 kilometres) north-west of Rouen, and 3 miles (5 kilometres) south of Yvetot, a small town on the main Rouen-Le Havre road (N.13 bis).

There are bus services between Yvetot and Rouen and Le Havre. The two British graves are on the south side of the churchyard.


Burial Details

1577912 Sergeant William Stanley Anstey, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner in 226 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 17th August 1944.

1321433 Sergeant Donald Kenlow Cook, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner in 226 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 17th August 1944, aged 22. Son of Thomas and Amelia Cook; husband of Rae L. Cook, of Wembley, Middlesex. His headstone bears the inscription "In Proud And Loving Memory Of My Dear Husband. Rae"
