Location Information

St. Samson-la-Poterie is a village and commune 19 miles (30 kilometres) north-west of Beauvais, and 5 miles (8 kilometres) south of Formerie. The communal cemetery lies on the western side of the village and the grave of the 1 British soldier is near the south-east corner.


Burial Details


6854371 Rifleman John Vernon Palmer, King's Royal Rifle Corps, died 31st August 1944, aged 21. Son of Albert Vernon Palmer, and of Queenie Ethel Palmer, of Wandsworth, London.
