Lieutenant Charles Edmund Jefferson, H. M. S. Stalker, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, died 26th August 1944, aged 22.
Son of Chaplain the Revd. Percy Taylor Jefferson, R.N.V.R., M.A. (died at sea 31st October, 1945), and of Constance Eve Jefferson, of Caterham, Surrey. His headstone bears the inscription "I Have Fought A Good Fight I Have Finished My Course I Have Kep The Faith" II Timothy IV 7.
