FUVEAU COMMUNAL CEMETERY

Location Information

Fuveau is a village and commune 24 kilometres north-east of Marseilles. The cemetery, which lies to the north-west of the village, contains one Canadian sailor, who is buried in the private vault of the Columb family.


Visiting Information

NB Enter the civilian cemetery through the main entrance and walk up the main path, S.L. Cary is buried in the seventh row on the left, third grave in.


Burial Details


O/12097 Sub-Lieutenant David Arthur Cary, H. M. S. Khedive, Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve, died 18th August 1944, aged 21. Son of Arthur Everard Falkland Cary and Frances Ida Cary, of Stettler, Alberta, Canada.
