SIBIRIL COMMUNAL CEMETERY

GPS Coordinates: Latitude: 48.66616, Longitude: -4.06319

Location Information

Sibiril is a village and commune 20 kilometres north-west of Morlaix, and 10 kilometres south-west of Roscoff. The communal cemetery is about twenty yards from the church. In the north-eastern corner are the graves of an airman of the Royal Air Force and two unidentified men of the Royal Canadian Navy.


Burial Details


759005 Sergeant Robert Holt, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner in 86 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 2nd February 1942, aged 30.Husband of Constance Holt, of Blackpool, Lancashire. His headstone bears the inscription "Peacefully Sleeping Free From Pain I Would Not Wake Him To Suffer Again"
