Location Information

Saumur is a town some 42 kilometres south-east of Angers. The Communal Cemetery is just over 2 kilometres south from the centre of the town on the west side of the road leading to the village of Varrains.


History Information

There are 11 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-45 war here.

Identified Casualties: United Kingdom 9, Canada 1, New Zealand 1. Total 11.
