Location Information

Quincampoix-Fleuzy is a village and commune 46 kilometres north-west of Beauvais, and 23 kilometres south-east of Aumale. Quincampoix is the main part of the commune and Fleuzy a hamlet. The graves of 4 soldiers from the United Kingdom, 2 of whom are unidentified, are on the south side of the church.


Burial Details

6143864 Private Richard Henry Farmer, 2/6th Bn. East Surrey Regiment, died 9th June 1940, aged 31. Son of Harry and Ethel Farmer.

3599067 Lance Corporal Thomas Mathew Penrice, (Mentioned in Despatches), 4th Bn. Border Regiment, died 24th May 1940, aged 29. Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Penrice and stepson of Elizabeth Jane Penrice, of Keswick, Cumberland. His headstone bears the inscription "He Died That We Might Live"
