1384907 Flight Sergeant John James Rowland, Pilot in 184 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 7th June 1944, aged 23. Son of John Allinson Rowland and Catherine Fraces Rowland, of Tooting, Surrey. His headstone bears the inscription "In Loving Memory. Into The Mosaic Of Victory We Place Our Precious Gem. R. I. P."
