Location Information
​

Ottrott is a village 28 kilometres south-west of Strasbourg and about 11 kilometres south-south-west of Melsheim. The communal cemetery is on the western side of the village, on the N.426 road to the neighbouring hamlet of Klingthenal. The 2 Commonwealth war graves are near the northern corner of the cemetery.

Burial Details

176650 Flying Officer Harry Jones, Pilot in 550 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 29th July 1944, aged 23. Son of William and Mary Jane Jones, of Risca, Monmouthshire. His headstone bears the inscription "At The Going Down Of The Sun and In The Morning We Will Remember Him"

1652120 Sergeant Idwal Williams, Air Gunner in 550 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 29th July 1944, aged 21. Son of Henry Morgan Williams and Alice Williams of Blaina, Monmouthshire. His headstone bears the inscription "In Proud And Loving Memory Of Our Dearly Beloved Son And Brother"
