Mareil-le-Guyon is a village 22 kilometres west of Versailles and 16 kilometres north of Rambouillet. The Communal Cemetery is north of the village on the road from the village to the main Versailles-Dreux road.

All 7 Airmen were in 166 Squadron and killed on 11th June 1944.
