Laprade is a village and commune in the Department of the Aude 26 kilometres north-west of Carcassonne, the chief town of the department, and about 16 kilometres south-west of Mazamet, a town in the Department of the Tarn. The village is situated on the local road (G.C. 123) which turns west off the main Carcassonne-Mazamet road. The one war grave in this cemetery is north-west of the entrance.
