Location Information

Helmond is a town 26 kilometres east of Eindhoven. The Protestant Cemetery adjoins, but is separated from, the Roman Catholic Cemetery, on the eastern outskirts of the town. It is north of the road to Venlo. The 3 British graves are on the north-east side of the cemetery.

Burial Details

14259595 Guardsman Stanley French, 3rd Bn. Scots Guards, died 19th November 1944, aged 23. 
Son of Harry and Ethel French, of st. Augustine's, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. His headstone bears the inscription "Not Just To-Day But Every Day We Miss Him But In God's Good Time We'll Meet Again"

4466465 Craftsman Thomas Osmond Hart, 123 L. A. A. Workshops, 
Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, died 27th November 1944, aged 34. Son of Andrew and Jane Isabella Johnson Hart. His headstone bears the inscription "Thy Will Be Done"

2698188 Lance Serjeant Alexander Malcolm, 3rd Bn. Scots Guards, died 14th December 1944, aged 30.
