Location Information

Haguenau is a town 28 kilometres north of Strasbourg on the N63 road to Wissenbourg. The French National cemetery is on the south-eastern side of the town, on the southern side of the communal cemetery.

​The cemetery is on the Route de Marienthal, 67500, Haguenau. In the southern part are the graves of 7 airmen of the Royal Air Force. There is also, in a plot of Russian graves, 1 Commonwealth 1914-1918 War grave.

Machine Gun Corps (Infantry), died 13th November 1918.

656153 Flight Sergeant Frederick Basil Baker, 626 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 25th April 1944, aged 25.
 Son of Edward Augustus and Olive Mary Baker, of Winton, Bournemouth, Hampshire. His headstone bears the inscription "He Gave His All For Us And His Country"

1575892 Flight Sergeant Ronald Gerrard Craddock, 626 Squadron, 
Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 25th April 1944, aged 21. Husband of Vera Craddock, of Fulwell, Sunderland, Co. Durham. His headstone bears the inscription "Brave Deeds Were Done, A Battle Fought, And He Was There Yes, He Was There"

1394192 Flight Sergeant Eric Gordon Morrice Eyres, 626 Squadron, 
Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 25th April 1944.

1592750 Sergeant Bernard Michael Kimber, 626 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 25th April 1944, aged 19. Son of Fred and A. Kimber, of West Bowling, Bradford, Yorkshire. His headstone bears the inscription "Always Cheerful Always Kind Treasured Memories Left Behind"

1556369 Sergeant John Harold McVey, 626 Squadron, 
Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 25th April 1944, aged 21. Son of John J. McVey and Margaret E. McVey, of Cathcart, Glasgow. His headstone bears the inscription "Forever In Our Hearts"

1629697 Sergeant Frank Skelly, 626 Squadron, 
Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 25th April 1944, aged 31. Son of John and Mary Skelly; husband of Lilian Ada Skelly, of Luton, Bedfordshire.
