Ferrières-Haut-Clocher is a village and commune some 13 kilometres west of Évreux. The communal cemetery is on the north-eastern side of the village and some 400 yards east of the Mairie, on a by-road leading to the hamlet of Le Bas-de-Ferrières. The two Commonwealth war graves are in the south-western corner.

1516844 Gunner Harry Hipwell, 213 Battery 54 (The Queen's Own Royal Glasgow Yeomanry) Anti Tank Regiment, Royal Artillery, died 14th June 1940, aged 20. Son of Susannah Toseland, of Leicester. His headstone bears the inscription "Whilst Life And Love And Memory Last We Shall Always Remember. Good Night, Son"
