Location Information

Caugé is a village and commune lying 8 kilometres west of Évreux. The Communal Cemetery is on the north-western side of the minor road which leads off the main road from Évreux to Lisieux. 
In the south-eastern corner are the graves of three airmen of the Royal Air Force.

Burial Details

537351 Sergeant John Raymond Browning, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner in 107 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 13th June 1940, aged 21. Son of John Henry and Edith May Browning. His headstone bears the inscription "Into Thy Keeping"

580577 Sergeant Francis Charles Higgins, Observer in 107 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 13th June 1940, aged 25. Son of John and Hetty Kate Higgins, of Hanworth, Middlesex. His headstone bears the inscription "We Shall Always Remember His Kind And Faithful Ways. Mum, Dad, Helen And All The Boys"

42448 Pilot Officer Arthur Frank Stidston, Pilot in 107 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 13th June 1940.
