​Location Information


Étrepagny is a small town 12 kilometres west of Gisors, a town on the Dieppe-Pontoise-Paris railway line.

The Communal Cemetery is east of Étrepagny on the southern side of the road from Gisors. The 5 Commonwealth war graves are near the western wall of the Cemetery.

Son of Albert and Blanche Harbone, of Saltley, Birmingham; husband of M. L. (Nora) Harbone, of Stockton-on-Tees, CO. Durham.

His headstone bears the inscription "My Dearly Loved Husband. Memories Of You Will Never Die. Loving Wife Nora"

29th August 1944, aged 21.

Son of Charles John and Deborah Mary Ketteridge, of Southall, Middlesex.

His headstone bears the inscription "Most Sweet Jesus, Have Mercy On Him And Let Perpetual Light Shine Upon Him. R. I. P."

2nd Fife and Forfar Yeomanry. Royal Armoured Corps, died 29th August 1944, aged 26. Son of Robert and Agnes Sutherland; husband of Agnes Sutherland, of Halbeath, Fife. His headstone bears the inscription "Loved And Longed For Always"

3446253 Corporal Edmund (Eddie) Whatmough, 
2nd Fife and Forfar Yeomanry. Royal Armoured Corps, died 29th August 1944, aged 30. His headstone bears the inscription "In Loving Memory Of Eddie, Our Hero To The End. He Died His Loved Ones To Defend"
