The village of Coeuvres-et-Valsery is about 15 kilometres west-south-west of Soissons and nearly 11 kilometres north-east of Villers-Cotterets, a small town on the road from Paris to Soissons. The Communal Cemetery is immediately south of the church and is separated from the churchyard by a wall.
Coeuvres-et-Valsery Communal Cemetery contains five Commonwealth burials of the First World War, all dating from July 1918, and the graves of six Second World War airmen. The graves are located against the left hand boundary.
