Location Information

Brignogan-Plage is a large village and commune 74 kilometres north-north-west of Quimper and about 33 kilometres north-east of Brest. The communal cemetery is west of the village, just off the main road from Lesneven.

Son of Bert G. Gibbons and Minnie H. Gibbons, of London, Ontario, Canada.

​His headstone bears the inscription "Greatly Missed And Ever Remembered By Parents And Family"

1375580 Sergeant Gordon Henry Norman Davey, Pilot in 79 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 18th December 1941, aged 27. Son of Edward and Catherine Emily Davey, of Brixton, London. His headstone bears the inscription "In Loving Memory Of Our Only Son. We Who Loved Him Mourn In Silence, Unseen"
