Location Information

Bonnebosq is a village and commune 12 kilometres north-west of Lisieux, and the same distance south-west of Pont l'Evreque. There are 2 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-1945 war, near the War Memorial at the north-east corner of the church, within a fence of concrete pillars and bars and wire.


Burial Details

242136V Captain Graham Harfold Kaufman, D. F. C., Pilot in 182 Squadron, South African Air Force, died 18th July 1944, aged 25. 
Son of John E. and Florence. R. Kaufmann, of Kingwilliamstown, Cape Pro vince, South Africa.

914101 Bombardier Peter Anthony McGrady, 10 Survey Regiment, Royal Artillery, died 21st July 1944, aged 33. Son of Peter and Alice McGrady; husband of Lilian McGrady, of Newcastle-on-Tyne.
