GPS Coordinates: Latitude: 52.00922, Longitude: 4.97843

Location Information

Benschop is 17 kilometres south-south-west of Utrecht and 21 kilometres east of Gouda. The cemetery partly surrounds the Protestant church which stands in the centre of the village on the north side of the canal. The three U. K. Airmen burials are to be found against the southern boundary, close to the entrance.

1340346 Sergeant John Caldwell Adam, 214 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 3rd February 1943, aged 28. Son of James and Annie Adam, of Kilsyth, Stirlingshire. His headstone bears the inscription "Beautiful Memories Treasured Ever Of Happy Days We Spent Together"

1124496 Sergeant George Eric Johnson, 214 Squadron, 
Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 3rd February 1943, aged 21. Son of Lawrence George and Hilda Mary Johnson, of Darlington, Co. Durham. His headstone bears the inscription "Time Passes, Shadows Fall; Love And Remembrance Outlast All"
