Bailly-en-Rivière is a village and commune some 18 kilometres east of Dieppe on the Envermeu-Fresnay-Blangy road (D.149).
The Communal Cemetery is on the north-east side of the village, some 300 yards from the church up a small road which turns right off the road from Bailly-en-Rivière to Avesnes-en-Val (D.58). In the south-east portion of the cemetery, near the south wall, are the graves of 2 British soldiers killed in 1940.

2981167 Private Duncan MacDonald, 8th Bn. Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, died 7th June 1940, aged 22. Son of Duncan and Annie MacDonald, of Salen, Isle of Mull. His headstone bears the inscription "Life Is Real! Life Is Earnest! And The Grave Is Not Its Goal"
2982562 Private Donald Martin, 8th Bn. Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, died 8th June 1940, aged 22. Son of Donald and Jessie Martin, of Campbeltown, Argyllshire. His headstone bears the inscription "To Memory Ever Dear"
