ANZEX COMMUNAL CEMETERY

Location Information
Anzex is a small village and commune, some 37 kilometres north-west of Agen, the chief town of the department, and 8 kilometres south-east of the town of Castelialoux. The village is situated just north of the main road (D11) from Casteljaloux to the village of Cap du Bosc.
The communal cemetery is next to the church. In the south-western corner is 1 Commonwealth burial of the 1939-1945 War.

1393084 Flight Sergeant Alec David Barnett, Navigator in 620 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 12th April 1944, aged 22. Son of Frederick John and Margaret Jane Barnett, of Hanwell, Middlesex.
