Ambleteuse is a village and commune 12 kilometres north of Boulogne on the Boulogne-Calais coastal road (N.30).
The communal cemetery is in the centre of the village, 100 yards south of the church. Some 12 yards south of the calvary are the graves of an airman and seven unidentified soldiers from the United Kingdom, and one unidentified Canadian soldier.

72088 Flight Lieutenant Bruce Arthur Rogers, 242 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 17th June 1941, aged 23. Son of Percy Charles Rogers and of Olivia Jane Rogers (nee Home); husband of Dora Rogers. B.A., Hons. (Oxon).
