Acheux-en-Vimeu is a village and commune 12 kilometres south-west of Abbeville and 2 kilometres south of the N.25 road from Abbeville to Dieppe. The communal cemetery is on the northern side of the village, on a by-road leading to the N.25 road. On the northern side of the main path, and some 14 metres east of the western boundary, are the graves of three British soldiers, two of whom are not identified.

2753598 Private Alexander Scott, 1st Bn. Black Watch (Royal Highlanders). 31st May 1940, aged 27. Husband of Grace Mair Scott. His headstone bears the inscription "He Was One Of Many But He Was Mine"
