Ercourt is a village and commune in the Department of the Somme, about 45 kilometres north-west of Amiens and almost 11 kilometres south-west of Abbeville, about 3 kilometres north-west of the main road (N.28) from Abbeville to Blangy-sur-Bresle and Roue. Ercourt church is on the Le Monchel road from the village. The graves of two airmen of the Royal Air Force are near the middle of the southern boundary of the churchyard.

903064 Sergeant Robert Donald Keiler Cochrane, Air Gunner in 26 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 5th June 1940, aged 27. Husband of Helen Margaret Lee Cochrane of Dalbeattie, Kirkcudbrightshire
Pilot Officer David Gronow Fevez, Pilot in 26 Squadron, Royal Air Force, 5th June 1940, aged 21. Son of Eugene Leon and Ethel Gronow Fevez of Bexhill-on-Sea, Sussex. His brother, Robin Louis Fevez, also died on service and is buried in Salerno War Cemetery, Italy.
